Before I tell you about the type of coaching and strategy work that I do with clients, let me give you a crash course on how I got to this point — the point where I guide my clients through half million dollar marketing launches.
Who I Am & Why It Matters
I started my company way back in 2004 when I was just 21 years old.
I was young, eager and had a strong desire to figure out how to be my own boss, work from home and travel the world while earning a good living. So, from my cushy executive position in a downtown private college, I Googled the term “virtual assistant” and the rest was history.
My very first client was a feisty twenty year-old who was being mentored by one of the biggest names in Internet Marketing. He was pulling over five figures a month selling a Texas Hold’em poker e-book and I was fascinated.
I worked with him for years and we eventually sold his then-partnered business for billions to a poker company from Sweden. He went on to found a company that joined forces with Ancestry.com and sold that business for billions, too.
The bar was set high for me very early on and when I saw firsthand the power that the Internet held for business owners who made it part of their operations, I was hooked.
Over the past fourteen years, I’ve generated millions of dollars for my clients and most of those clients have been small to medium-sized businesses.
I’ve worked with single moms who were looking to stay at home with their kids and earn a decent living. I’ve worked with Kraft, Disney and Ford.
I’ve also worked with small businesses who just needed better systems in place around their online profile or who wanted to use social media to attract a new audience.
The one thing that stood out in all of my work with clients was that there was a strong need for someone who had the tactical experience of working inside of these projects but also the strategic experience to see the bigger picture and understand how all the moving parts were connected.
Fortunately, that was, and still is, my specialty.

About the Digital Strategy Sessions
When you engage me for a digital strategy session, we will spend our time together creating solutions, ideas and a plan that is customized for your business and your needs — whatever they are at the present moment.
Wherever you are currently at in your business, I will meet you there and then push you to go beyond your comfort zone and move into territory that you may not have thought about yet.
When you set up a session, I’ll collect some information ahead of time that will help me prepare for our session. We’ll meet virtually (unless you’re local to Ottawa – we can then set up an in-person session) via telephone or Skype and we’ll spend the time focused on you and your business.
You’ll walk away from our session with at least one to three actionable items (sometimes more!) and more than likely some homework. However, you’ll also feel less overwhelmed, less confused and more inspired and ready to get to work.
I really enjoyed our work together, Erin. You kicked me into action and I am working on migrating my website right now! You really are one of the best coaches and you’re so knowledgeable in the areas of web and marketing.
